Role Overview
This is a senior advisory role responsible for defining, governing, and stabilizing large-scale Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Endpoint Management services. The role combines deep technical authority with consulting, transition leadership, and operational oversight across enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities
MDM / UEM Engineering & Operations
- Design, implement, and support enterprise MDM/UEM platforms including Microsoft Intune and VMware Workspace ONE.
- Manage large-scale device estates across iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS platforms.
- Provide expert support for MEM, MAM, MCM, compliance policies, and conditional access.
- Lead complex MDM migrations (e.g., Workspace ONE to Microsoft Intune) and post-migration stabilization.
- Act as L3/L4 escalation point for critical MDM incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Define MDM architecture standards, security baselines, and governance models.
- 24/7 support for any server downtime, able to handle requests and incidents arising from SCCM infrastructure, Microsoft Azure concepts and co-management or Autopilot using Intune.
- Advanced knowledge of Intune/SCCM infrastructure, primary site servers, secondary site servers and distribution points, co-management and Cloud Management Gateway.
- Expert knowledge of current software: Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Config Manager, Intune).
- Interface with customer and account-based teams on projects.
- Perform complex troubleshooting activities and act as a mentor for team, providing technical insights, developing product knowledge and best practices.
- Provide 3rd-level technical support in resolving internal and customer technical issues.
- Responsible for providing configuration management services to account-focused or leveraged accounts.
- Deep knowledge in inventory management, software distribution, patch management, using Configuration Manager and Intune.
- Knowledge in infrastructure management using SCCM and co-management.
- Very sound knowledge of various imaging engines and Windows 10 imaging technology.
- Able to develop custom deployment scripts; VBS, batch, PowerShell.
- Understanding of package server, task server, and server concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting of Windows server/client and networking issues, both server-side and client-side.
- Resilient troubleshooting, able to create custom scripts for gathering inventory from clients.
- Knowledge of SCCM client management suite at all levels.
- Generate custom reports using SQL queries.
- Handle Sever 1/2 scenarios, acting as single point of escalation for all technical issues.
- Monitor and maintain high compliance rates for software distribution, workstation patching, and SCCM client health.
- Conduct regular SCCM cleanup activities and generate custom reports using SCCM reporting tools.
- Upgrade the SCCM infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Configure boundaries, boundary groups, discovery methods, and compliance baselines.
