Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, is seeking an experienced L2 Endpoint Management Engineer to join the Systems Engineering team.

The role focuses on patching operations, software deployment and device provisioning for enterprise Windows environments. You will work with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Autopatch, WUfB and related technologies to manage end-to-end patch cycles, deployments and remediation, ensuring security and compliance across devices.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise Windows patching and software deployment using Intune.
• Hands-on management of Windows Autopilot/Autopatch deployments.
• Strong familiarity with Windows Update for Business (WUfB) and update rings.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Windows patching using WUfB deployment rings.
• Configure and maintain Intune Update Rings, Feature Update Policies, Quality Updates, and Expedited Updates.
• Administer Intune Autopatch deployments and servicing operations.
• Monitor patch compliance and troubleshoot update installation failures.
• Support monthly patch cycles and emergency security updates.
• Analyze patching issues and perform root cause analysis.

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced L2 Endpoint Management Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Intune, Windows Update for Business (WUfB), Intune Autopatch, Windows Autopilot, and Intune application deployment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing endpoint patching operations, software distribution, vulnerability remediation, and modern device provisioning for enterprise Windows environments.Key ResponsibilitiesWindows Patching & Update ManagementManage end-to-end Windows patching using Windows Update for Business (WUfB) deployment rings.Configure and maintain Intune Update Rings, Feature Update Policies, Quality Updates, and Expedited Updates.Administer and support Microsoft Intune Autopatch deployments and servicing operations.Monitor patch compliance and troubleshoot update installation failures.Support monthly patch cycles, emergency patch deployments, and security update rollouts.Analyze patching issues and perform root cause analysis for recurring failures.Software Deployment & Application ManagementDeploy and manage Win32, MSI, Microsoft Store, and Line-of-Business applications through Intune.Create and maintain application assignments, detection rules, dependencies, supersedence, and uninstall workflows.Troubleshoot software installation, upgrade, and deployment issues.Support application packaging teams during testing and validation activities.Monitor deployment success rates and ensure timely remediation of failed deployments.Windows Autopilot & Device ProvisioningConfigure and manage Windows Autopilot profiles.Support user-driven, pre-provisioned (White Glove), and self-deploying Autopilot scenarios.Troubleshoot enrollment, provisioning, ESP (Enrollment Status Page), and profile assignment issues.Support modern device lifecycle activities including provisioning, refresh, replacement, and rebuild operations.Vulnerability Remediation & Endpoint Security
