Job summary

Enerparc India is seeking a Systems Engineer for Utility Scale Solar Electrical Design to drive optimized plant designs, support technical due diligence, and coordinate with cross-functional teams during development and execution. This role will also offer exposure to BESS and hybrid system integration.

The candidate will lead design standardization, component sizing, and technical analysis, ensuring compliance with IEC, IEEE, and CEA/ grid interconnection requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or Renewable Energy.
• Experience: 5–8 years in utility-scale solar PV electrical design and engineering.
• Technical competencies: PV system design, standards, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer standardized PV and BESS systems, including SLDs and layouts.
• Size components: PV modules, inverters, batteries, PCS.
• Support interconnection studies, control logics, and operating modes.
• Prepare tender specs and design packages for Solar, BESS and hybrids.
• Conduct energy yield analyses (PVsyst), loss analysis, and optimization.
• Review load flow, short-circuit, and protection coordination studies.

The Systems Engineer – Utility Scale Solar Electrical Designwill be responsible for the electrical design, standardization, and technicalevaluation of utility -scale solar PV projects for Enerparc India. The roleinvolves developing optimized solar plant designs, supporting technical duediligence, evaluating key electrical components, and coordinating withcross -functional teams during project development and execution.

This role is primarily focused on utility -scalesolar engineering. As Enerparc continues expanding into hybrid and energystorage projects, selected candidates will also have the opportunity to betrained and upskilled in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and advancedhybrid plant integration<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i>

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>

1. Design & Engineering<\/b>
<\/p>

Develop and maintain standardized system designsfor PV and BESS including SLDs, layouts, and control philosophies.
<\/li>Perform technical assessment and component sizingfor PV modules, inverters, batteries, and PCS.
<\/li>Support system integration studies, including AC/DCcoupling configurations, control logics, and operational modes.
<\/li>Prepare and review tendering specifications, employerrequirements, and design packages for Solar, BESS components and hybridsystems.
<\/li>Conduct energy yield assessments (PVsyst), lossanalysis, and design optimization to support commercial and pre -bid teams.
<\/li>Review and validate electrical studies includingload flow, short -circuit, and protection coordination.
<\/li>Coordinatewith grid interconnection and protection teams for compliance with CEA,IEC, and IEEE standards.

2. Vendor Evaluation &Technical Qualification<\/b>
<\/p>

Lead technical evaluation and qualification ofsolar and BESS component vendors.
<\/li>Review test reports, certifications (IEC, UL, IS),and field performance data.
<\/li>Participatein factory and site inspections (FAT/SAT) and ensure compliance withdesign and quality requirements.
<\/li><\/ul>

3. Technical Analysis & Support<\/b>
<\/p>

Conduct Solar and BESS techno -economic studies,evaluating performance, sizing, and lifetime degradation.
<\/li>Review and benchmark OEM proposals for performance,safety, and reliability.
<\/li>Supporttroubleshooting and post -commissioning technical investigations.
<\/li><\/ul>

4. Collaboration &Continuous Improvement<\/b>
<\/p>

Work closely with Pre -Bid, D&E, Quality, andProcurement teams for design alignment and cost optimization.
<\/li>Continuously update design standards based on newinverter and BESS technologies.
<\/li>Providetraining and knowledge sharing within the engineering function on hybridand storage systems.
