Responsibilities
- Radar core systems development.
- Derive system‑level requirements and validate them for the radar system and its microcontrollers.
- Participate in Functional Safety activities such as safety manual analysis, deriving safety requirements, FMEA, and FSMs to meet safety goals.
Qualifications
- A graduate in BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation).
- 4–10 years of experience in Automotive Functional Safety ISO26262.
- A go‑getter with strong communication skills, willing to challenge the status quo to achieve career aspirations aligned with Aptiv’s mission.
- A learning enthusiast passionate about following market trends and publications outlining new solutions.
- Expertise in system engineering – requirement elicitation, creation, system design, verification and validation, FMEA, DFMEA.
- Knowledge of ADAS systems (ABS, ESP, etc.) or automotive microcontrollers.
- Expertise in system architecture design.
- Knowledge of vehicle network topology (CAN, Ethernet), hardware schematics, and debugging skills.
- Experience with Polarion or other requirements management tools, Enterprise Architect, JIRA, MATLAB, Autosar.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and a keen interest in staying up to date with trends.
- Hands‑on experience in requirements analysis, design, testing, configuration management, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of radar systems.
- Expertise in ISO26262.
- Knowledge of automotive microcontrollers.
- Experience with agile/scrum, ASPICE, and other lifecycle management processes.
