Aptiv Bengaluru is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer Technical Lead to drive radar-based Embedded Software for safety products. You will work on Autosar architectures in multicore environments and coordinate with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting.

The role emphasizes AUTOSAR, CAN/Diagnostics, Bootloader, MCAL integration, and ASPICE compliance, with senior technical ownership across the software life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in engineering (Electronics/Communication/Instrumentation/CS).
• 6–8 years of experience minimum.
• Autosar Basic Software with CAN and Diagnostics is a MUST.
• Bootloader experience is a MUST.
• MCAL integration experience.
• ADAS experience, especially Radar.
• Cysec and FuSa knowledge.
• ASPICE experience is a MUST.
• Embedded C on 16/32 bit MCUs.

Responsibilities

• ADAS product development (Radar/Camera) using Autosar Embedded Software.
• Follow ASPICE compliant processes across the software life cycle.
• Requirements analysis, design, coding and testing/verification.
• Perform AUTOSAR modeling and system configuration (SWC components).
• Set up and configure Autosar BSW modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop products.
• Analyze and resolve software issues with systematic problem solving.

Advanced Software Engineer Technical Lead - Autosare, BSW, CAN and Diagnostics

Your role

In particular you will be responsible for:

• Develop Radar product based Embedded SW development for safety products to be used in various global OEM vehicle
• Define and/or optimize Autosar based SW Architectures in multicore environment
• Collaborate with cross functional teams for day-to-day activities
• Debugging Skills & Issue Resolution with ownership
• Manage your time effectively against your targets
• Adhere to Company's Policies and Procedures, Emphasize and Support Continuous Process Improvement
• Work in an agile development environment

Your Background

• Preferred Educational Background is Bachelors in engineering -Electronics / Communication/ Instrumentation /Computer Science (Regular education)
• Should have minimum 6 to 8 Years experience
• Classic Autosar Basic Software working experience especially CAN, Diagnostics is MUST
• Boot loader working experience is MUST
• MCAL Working/Integration experience
• ADAS working experience(Especially Radar product)
• Cysec and FuSa knowledge
• ASPICE working experience is MUST
• Sound understanding of embedded SW development using C on 16/32 bit microcontrollers

Duties & Responsibilities’ :
