Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India to contribute to advanced safety and connectivity solutions for mobility. The role focuses on verification and validation of embedded software in radar/ADAS contexts.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of experience with CAN, Automotive Ethernet, Lauterbach, MATLAB, CANoe, CAPL scripting, Python, and AUTOSAR test frameworks, and a strong mindset for problem solving in a cross05cultural environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience as Embedded SW test Engineer/SW test in Development
• Hands-on testing experience with CAN and Automotive Ethernet in radar/ADAS domain
• Hands-on experience with test frameworks using MATLAB, Lauterbach and CANoe/CAPL
• Experience with Vector tools, CAPL, Python scripting and C for test development
• Familiar with ISO26262 Functional Safety & ASPICE and fault tracing tools

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech in any specialization with an experience of 5-7 years
• 5-7 years of experience as Embedded SW test Engineer/SW test in Development
• 3-5 years of experience in networking protocols like CAN, Automotive Ethernet in Automotive radar Software & Systems/ADAS domain
• Hands on V&V experience in low level radar Software components like MMIC/DSP/AUTOSAR
• Hands on experience in Lauterbach ,Python scripting, CAPL scripting, C programming for test framework enhancements and test script development
• Hands on experience in Automotive tools like Lauterbach, MATLAB, Canoe and other Vector tool’s
• Experience in problem solving, fault tracing and debugging using Trace32, Wireshark, Canoe
• Experience/Awareness in Agile development , ISO26262 -Functional safety & ASPICE
• Good Communication Skills, Passion for verification and validation
• Good Team player and motivated to work in cross cultural environment
