Job summary

Jobtailor in Bengaluru is seeking an IT Asset Management professional to oversee inventory, asset allocation, and vendor payments. You will maintain asset lifecycle records, coordinate with IT teams, and ensure accuracy in daily asset checks.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, strong communication, and ITIL knowledge. You will work on a range of hardware assets and participate in audits and reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily inward/outward stock registers and asset movement records.
• Verify and process invoices for vendor payments and allocations.
• Track AMC/Warranty status for all assets and update records.
• Allocate and track laptops, desktops, monitors, and other peripherals.
• Coordinate hardware requests and asset movements with IT teams.
• Prepare monthly asset reports and perform regular inventory checks.
• Audit assets periodically and support internal/external audits per process.
• Identify and replace end-of-life assets and ensure timely shipments.

Job description

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining daily inward outward & stock register
• Verify & process invoices for smooth flow of vendor payment
• Capture and update AMC/Warranty support status of all assets
• New hire / Loaner laptop allocation, shipment initiating and tracking
• Exit user laptop reverse shipment initiating and tracking
• Update daily asset allocation on ITAM (Desktop, Monitor, Laptop, Keyboard, Mouse, Phone, Headset, Network equipment’s, AV equipment’s, Server equipment’s etc.)
• Perform daily updates on inventory for allocated assets & movement assets
• Fulfill hardware \ asset movement request as per defined process
• Coordinate with IT team for hardware request & asset movements
• Create monthly hardware failure report based on daily asset check list
• Weekly validation of assets in inventory using daily asset check list
• Repair faulty asset timely basis by coordinating with respective EOM
• Proactively identify and replace EOL assets.
• Conduct periodic internal and external audit as per the defined process using FAR
• Publish and share asset reports with IT and leadership team

Requirements

• 2 - 5 Years of previous experience in IT Asset Management
• Excellent communications skills (Verbal and Written)
• Knowledge on ITIL Framework and Terminologies
• Demonstrated problem solving capabilities
• Adhere to established Service Levels Agreements and ensure to follow up on the ticket in a timely manner
• Flexible and Open to working in a rotating shifts

• Continually develops and maintains asset management skills to ensure high quality levels of support for end users.
• Hands-on industry standard ITAM tools and well versed with MS office

• An ITIL certification is preferable.
