Job Role: System Integration Engineer -(UAV/Drone )

The Government-funded project focuses on developing and demonstrating drone and allied technologies. The project will address various applications through the utilization of advanced technologies and critical infrastructure. Strong industry connections and collaborations will be fostered to solve pertinent challenges and drive technological advancements. Qualification Required:

• PhD with relevant experience
• MTech / ME or equivalent degree with relevant experience
• BTech / BE or equivalent degree with relevant experience

Key Skills Required:

• Expertise in selecting components (including power and propulsion systems) and modifying UAVs based on tests, payloads, and sensor requirements
• Analog and digital electronics, RF, WiFi and Cellular communication systems, antenna systems
• EMI/EMC compliance, cables, connectors, routing, and installation
• Familiarity with UAV regulations and safety standards, Mission Planning using Mission Planner, QGC etc.
• Understanding of flight physics, Drone Parameters
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Job Profile:

• Component selection, evaluation, and integration of various components of drones and ground control station, including power supplies, batteries, UPS, and grounding systems
• Perform load analysis and power optimisation
• Interface sensors, displays, control panels, and telemetry hardware, and implement communication links (LOS and BVLOS)
• Integrate ground control station hardware and software with UAV systems
• Ensure designs comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality norms
• Provide technical documentation, including design specifications, SoPs, and reports.
• Any other work assigned as per the requirement.
