Job summary

WorkSent Technologies Pvt Ltd. in India is seeking a Senior IT Systems Administrator with 6+ years of experience to manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365 in a remote (temporary) setup.

You will design, implement, and support multi-site infrastructure, including Hyper-V/VMware, Microsoft Azure, AWS, backup strategies, and DR testing, while ensuring SLAs and security standards.

Qualifications

• Strong DNS, DHCP, GPO and network fundamentals.

• Backup and disaster recovery experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Windows Server and AD infrastructure.
• Administer and support Exchange Server (on-prem and hybrid).
• Manage Microsoft 365 services including licensing and mailbox management.
• Deploy and manage Intune for endpoint management.
• Lead Hyper-V and VMware virtualization with clustering.
• Plan and manage solutions on Azure and AWS platforms.
• Develop backup strategy and perform DR tests.
• Troubleshoot complex system, network, and cloud issues; serve as escalation point for L1/L2.
• Maintain SLAs and ensure IT standards compliance.

• Manage and maintain various Windows Server operating systems
• Administer Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), DNS, and DHCP
• Manage and support Microsoft Exchange Server (on-prem and/or hybrid)
• Administer Microsoft 365 (Office 365) services including user account, license, and mailbox management
• Administer and monitor Hyper-V and VMware virtualization environments
• Maintain computer networks and related computing environments, including system software and application configurations
• Perform backup operations and develop/execute disaster recovery procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues
• Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Execute and support Level 1 network-related tasks, escalating where appropriate
• Manage and maintain various applications/tools like RMM, Ticketing, IT Documentation, EDR etc.

Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Windows Desktop OS Windows Server OS infrastructure in multi-site
• Administer and maintain Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP
• Manage and support Microsoft Exchange Server (on-prem and hybrid)
• Administer Microsoft 365 (Office 365), including email, licensing, and advanced configuration
• Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune for endpoint and mobile device management
• Lead and support Hyper-V and VMware virtualization platforms, including high availability and clustering
• Design, deploy, and manage solutions on Microsoft Azure and AWS platforms
• Develop backup strategy and Perform test backup and disaster recovery
• Troubleshoot complex system, network, and cloud issues; serve as the final escalation point for L1/L2
• Basic administration of Firewall
• Write Scope of Work Documents for infrastructure projects
• Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure compliance with IT standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support security, networking, and infrastructure projects
• Mentor junior engineers and document technical procedures and solutions

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365
• Proficient in Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
• Advanced knowledge of Hyper-V and VMware, including performance tuning and failover clusters
• Experience managing workloads in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, VMs, networking, storage)
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for both on-prem and cloud environments
• Ability to lead projects, write documentation, and contribute to process improvement
• Proficiency in Tools (RMM/Ticketing/Documentation/Backup)
