IDX DIGITAL in Vadodara, Gujarat, India is seeking a skilled System Engineer to join our IT Support team. You will maintain and improve our IT infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable systems that support day-to-day business operations across servers, endpoints, and cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues, implement infrastructure enhancements, manage backups and DR, scripting with PowerShell, and provide Level 2/3 support, including after-hours on-call, while

Qualifications

• 1–6 years of experience in System Administration, Infrastructure Support, or IT Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
• Experience managing endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune or equivalent MDM solutions.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and firewalls.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Basic understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure is desirable.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple incidents simultaneously.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to provide after-hours support when required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain Windows and Linux servers to ensure reliable infrastructure operations.
• Administer Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Group Policies, and user accounts.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Manage and support endpoint devices using Intune or equivalent device management platforms.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity; address infrastructure issues proactively.
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, application, and network-related issues.
• Configure virtualization environments such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Support LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi‑Fi, DNS, DHCP, and firewall infrastructure.
• Apply system updates, security patches, and harden configurations per standards.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, documentation, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security and other tech teams to meet security policies.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
• Provide Level 2/3 support including incident investigation and escalation.
• Participate in on‑call and after‑hours support as needed.

• Participate in on‑call and after‑hours support when required to maintain business continuity and infrastructure availability.
