Job summary

Technosoft Engineering is seeking a System Administrator in Thane to manage Windows desktop and server environments, network devices, and security controls. The role includes patch management, AD/DNS, CCTV NVR, and remote administration.

The candidate should have 3–7 years of relevant experience, hands-on with Hyper-V/VMware, and proficiency in routers, firewalls, and VPNs. Willingness to work in rotating shifts and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Electronics/CS/IT or equivalent computer science qualification.
• 3–7 years of experience as System Administrator.
• Location: Thane, India.

Responsibilities

• Strong troubleshooting on Windows platform and network administration.
• Knowledge of Routers/Switches (Cisco/HP).
• Experience with Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022.
• Knowledge of Hyper-V and VMware Hosts.
• Analysing system logs and identifying issues.
• Experience with Firewalls (Sophos): rules/policies, ACL, NAT, VPN setup, VLAN, routing, security.
• Handling EPABX, UPS.
• General hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong anti-virus server and network security experience.
• Patch management (WSUS).
• Maintain/manage Active Directory / DNS / File Server / Print Server.
• Remote server/desktop management.
• CCTV NVR system handling.
• Willing to work in rotational shifts and weekends.
• ISO 27001 knowledge is a plus.
