Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking a System Administrator to join our onsite team in Hyderabad. The role requires 1–3 years of experience and involves managing Windows servers, networks, and VOIP configurations. Night shifts (6:30 PM to 3:30 AM) and hands-on maintenance are key parts of the job.

The candidate will install and upgrade Windows systems, monitor performance, and support end users while coordinating with the IT team to ensure secure, reliable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with network concepts and system administration tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with hardware and VOIP configurations is a plus.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Should have good sound in Hardware & Network


• Windows Server and client operating systems


• Installing or upgrading Windows systems and applications


• Having good knowledge on VOIP services ( configuring Desk phones, applications, reports etc. )


• Firewall and Router related Exp ( Failover, Load balancing, VLANS, VPN, Content Filtering )


• Good to have any knowledge on recruitment ATS tolls and job boards ( Ceipal, Oorwin ) Vendor handling

System Installation & Maintenance

• Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and servers.


• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues.

Network Management

• Assist in maintaining and monitoring network performance and connectivity.


• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of routers, switches, and other networking devices.

User Support & Training

• Provide support for end-users regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.


• Assist in training staff on software and hardware usage.

System Monitoring

• Monitor and manage system performance, security, and backups.


• Perform regular system health checks and updates to ensure the infrastructure remains secure and up to date.

Security & Backup

• Assist in ensuring the security of the network by implementing appropriate measures, including antivirus software, firewalls, and regular updates.


• Help in managing data backup and recovery processes.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of system configurations, software licenses, and hardware inventories.


• Generate regular reports on system performance and incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


• Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking concepts.


• Familiarity with system administration tools and software.


• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in IT infrastructure.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
