Job summary

Accenture in India (Kolkata) seeks a Software Asset Management specialist to join the SAM India Ops team. You will work with ServiceNow SAMPro, Flexera, and SNOW License Manager, handling licensing positions and policy development.

You will collaborate with publishers, draft reconciliation reports, and support discovery processes. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential; willingness to work in shifts and in-office presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3 tier 1 publishers (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, VMware, SAP) and 3 tier 2 publishers (Salesforce, Adobe, Quest, Autodesk, Micro Focus, Citrix, Veritas, Informatica).
• Advanced functional knowledge of ServiceNow SAM Pro / Flexera / SNOW SLM.
• Knowledge of publisher contracts and use rights; license reconciliation methodologies; product bundling, suites mapping, upgrades/downgrade.
• Understanding discovery Fundamentals: ServiceNow Discovery for software applications and model normalization.
• Drafting Software Asset Management policies & Procedures.
• Excellent command over software licensing and use rights information; MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
• Willing to work shifts and come to office.

Responsibilities

• Draft and enforce Software Asset Management policies & Procedures.
• Create IBM Sub-Capacity Mainframe ELP reports.
• Create Oracle DB server and Options ELP reports.
• Perform manual reconciliation and deployment validation.
• Work with SAM tools like ServiceNow SAMPro, Flexera, SNOW License Manager.
• Communicate licensing requirements clearly to stakeholders.
