Responsible for establishing the cost ofinstallation, materials and workmanships. The role holder seeks to minimizethe costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving therequired standards and quality.

• - Tracks and manages costs to ensurethat the design remains within budget and essential additions are offset byidentifying other opportunities for savings
• - Strives to maximize thefinancial effectiveness and profitability of the business through diligentapplication of proper contractual and commercial practices and with carefulrisk management

Customer

• - Liaises with the engineeringand purchase department to ensure project requirements are met
• - Liaises with maincontractors, sub contractors and other parties involved to ensure successfulcompletion of the project

Internal Process/Internal Process/Operations

• - Demonstrates awareness of keyobjectives and priorities to assist in measurement, internal and externalvaluations andadministration of contract records
• - Assists in preparation of quotations/contracts that are beneficial to both the organization and the vendor by understandingand clearly stating the terms and conditions
• - Coordinates with the ContractsTeam in reviewing the Bill of Quantities to ensure the completeness of theBoQ in line with design drawings
• - Co-ordinates with contractsteam in finalization of Contracts Agreements and prepares all contractsrelated documents
• - Handles sourcing andpurchasing of materials and related products as per project requirements
• - Prepares daily progressreport against estimates for the project
