Mavenbmc Faridabad is seeking a capable production leader to manage machine shop operations and meet daily, weekly and monthly targets. The role requires overseeing CNC, VMC, HMC, turning, milling, drilling and grinding processes while ensuring quality, safety and timely delivery.

The candidate will drive OEE improvements, implement corrective actions, coordinate with PPC, Quality and Maintenance, and lead shop floor teams including operators and technicians.

• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, 5S and TPM on the shop floor.

Responsible for managing Machine Shop production operations, ensuring achievement of production targets, optimum machine utilization, quality, productivity, cost control and timely delivery while maintaining safety and automotive quality standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Machine Shop production activities as per production plan.
• Handle machining operations on CNC, VMC, HMC, Turning, Milling, Drilling, Grinding and other machining equipment.
• Ensure achievement of daily/weekly/monthly production targets with required quality and productivity.
• Prepare and monitor shift-wise production plans, manpower allocation and machine loading.
• Monitor and improve OEE, cycle time, productivity, machine utilization and capacity utilization.
• Ensure proper machine setting, tool setting, fixture setting and changeovers.
• Monitor machining parameters such as cutting speed, feed, depth of cut, tool life and cycle time.
• Troubleshoot machining/process-related problems and coordinate with Maintenance and Tool Room for quick resolution.
• Work on rejection, rework and scrap reduction through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor tool consumption and tool life and implement improvements for tooling cost reduction.
• Ensure adherence to Process Sheets, SOPs, Control Plans, PFMEA and Work Instructions.
• Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, Stores and Engineering for smooth production.
• Ensure first-piece approval and in-process quality checks in coordination with Quality.
• Drive cycle-time reduction, line balancing, bottleneck elimination and productivity improvement projects.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, 5S and TPM activities on the shop floor.
• Conduct RCA, 5 Why and CAPA for production and quality-related issues.
• Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance coordination to minimize machine downtime.
• Maintain production MIS and monitor KPIs such as OEE, rejection %, downtime, productivity, PPM and plan vs. actual production.
• Manage and develop operators, technicians and supervisors, including training and skill-matrix development.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO, EHS and shop-floor safety requirements.
