Job summary

Tyro Ventures in Bengaluru is seeking a Supply Planning Specialist to develop and execute short- and long-term supply plans aligned with demand forecasts.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to ensure capacity and material availability, monitor inventory, and drive continuous improvement in planning processes.

The role emphasizes analytic rigor, ERP system proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short-term and long-term supply plans aligned with demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure capacity alignment and material availability.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and minimize excess inventory.
• Track supplier lead times, production constraints, and capacity limitations to ensure smooth operations.
• Actively participate in S&OP / IBP processes and cross-functional planning reviews.
• Identify potential supply risks and create proactive mitigation strategies.
• Analyse variances between planned vs. actual supply, driving improvements and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate planning data and reports within ERP systems.
• Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain planning.
