Job summary

Tata Technologies is seeking a Planning Analyst in Pune to develop and maintain supply plans across short- and long-term horizons. You will analyze demand, inventory, material availability, and capacity to align production with demand and optimize service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short-term and long-term supply plans to support business and customer requirements.
• Analyze demand forecasts, inventory positions, material availability, and capacity constraints to create executable supply plans.
• Collaborate with manufacturing plants and cross-functional teams to align production schedules with demand requirements.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks, shortages, bottlenecks, and capacity challenges.
• Support inventory optimization initiatives while maintaining target service levels.
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely material availability and uninterrupted production.
• Monitor and analyze excess and obsolete inventory and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage replenishment parameters and planning strategies to improve inventory performance.
• Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) and supply review meetings.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and supply chain performance metrics.
• Maintain ERP/MRP master data, planning parameters, and system accuracy.
• Analyze supply chain KPIs and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Support continuous improvement projects focused on planning processes, efficiency, and supply chain optimization.
