The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, collaboration with suppliers and internal teams, and ensuring customer service levels are met. This full-time position sits in the HP Supply Chain & Operations organization with emphasis on analytics, forecasting methods and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in supply chain or math-related subject or Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning or related analytical roles.
• Fluency in English.

Supply Chain Planner

Description -

Job Responsibilities:

• Manages demand planning processes utilizing wide range of forecasting methods throughout the service support life.
• Analyses demand trends to identify important deviations and root causes.
• Anticipates factors that might influence demand, such as seasonal trends, lifecycle specifics, others.
• Analyses Forecast Accuracy results and identifies reasons for deviations and take corrective actions

• Analyses stocking requirements for multi-echelon network and defines requirements to meet the desired customer service level, while optimizing inventory and inventory carrying costs.
• Evaluates current and future inventory requirements and takes action to mitigate shortages or excesses.
• Applies solid understanding in Multi-echelon Inventory Optimization methodology to take inventory decisions.
• Analyses inventory trends and deviations, and root causes, takes corrective actions.
• Closely monitors Excess & Obsolescence trends and takes actions to mitigate cost impact

• Optimizes sourcing plan to reach targeted inventory, by maximizing repair vs new buy
• Optimizes network replenishment requirements across many locations
• Initiates timely balancing of material to fulfill needs or avoid overstock

• Manages lifecycle events such as NPI and Last Time Buy in close collaboration with PLM and Suppliers
• Supports continues process improvement and process automation by analyzing data, identifying patterns and trends to draw conclusions
• Applies solid understanding of integrated software systems and their workflow

Education (degree) and professional experience required:
