Job summary

Kan Biosys Pvt. Ltd. in Pune seeks an experienced Senior SCM professional to lead end-to-end supply chain planning, procurement, production, inventory and distribution. You will develop demand forecasts, coordinate production plans and manage vendor performance while ensuring timely product availability.

The role requires 8–12 years of experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial capacity, with MBA/PGDM in SCM or related field and strong SAP/ERP skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end supply chain planning, procurement, production, inventory and distribution.
• Develop demand forecasts and monthly/quarterly supply plans.
• Coordinate production planning based on sales demand and business requirements.
• Manage vendors, procurement, negotiations and supplier performance.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels and monitor ageing/near-expiry stock.
• Oversee warehousing, logistics, transportation and distribution.
• Ensure timely and accurate product availability and delivery.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, QA, Finance, R&D and Regulatory teams.
• Strengthen ERP/SAP-based supply chain processes and MIS.
• Develop SOPs, dashboards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance, batch traceability and supply-chain risk management.
