Job summary

Growth For Impact is seeking an experienced supply chain leader to develop and implement systems, control inventory, and plan material requirements for production. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, coordinate with finance, production, and dispatch, and drive procurement, governance, and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 15 years of proven experience in Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new systems, best practices, inventory control & demand planning.
• Lead and manage a team of people.
• Arrange material for production timely as per BOM and production planning schedule.
• Plan production according to annual/monthly planning and meet material requirements.
• Coordinate with Finance, Production, Dispatch and Project executing teams.
• Prepare MIS and submit daily.
• Manage vendor relationships and develop new vendors.
• Oversee strategic sourcing, procurement, contracting, and evaluation of services.
• Optimize supply/demand forecasting, inventory management, and on-time delivery.
• Monitor and analyze current trends in the marketplace.
• Identify and manage risks within the supply chain.
• Develop analytics, systems and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports.
• Direct and manage corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
• Address tactical and strategic supply chain issues.
• Stay informed of advances in supply chain technology and apply them to improve processes.
• Establish key performance indicators, monitor performance, and improve against set goals.
• Develop and implement profit improvement and change management plans.
• Resolve work-related problems and prepare progress and other reports.
• Communicate values, business goals, and represent the organization to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage contractor and subcontractor activities, review proposals, develop performance specifications, and act as liaison.
• Support development of supply chain training materials and technical manuals.
• Identify potential projects to deliver changes and improvements to the supply chain and commission select projects.
• Develop management and project reports.
• Develop and deliver oral presentations.
• Supervise complete stores, warehouse and logistics functions including imports and exports.
