Job summary

Anmol Industries in Kolkata is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Manager to lead strategy development and oversee scorecard delivery. You will maintain SCM SOPs, analyze data to speed up shipments, and coordinate with multiple departments to optimize processes and costs.

The role focuses on forecasting, logistics oversight, inventory control, safety guidelines, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the supply chain. Collaborations with suppliers and internal teams are essential.

Responsibilities

• Create the company’s supply chain strategy.
• Monitor SC scorecard delivery and gap analysis to measure actual against target.
• Maintain standard operating procedures for SCM.
• Evaluate and review SCM operations, update process documentation, streamline opportunities and remove non-value-added activities.
• Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, responsibilities, or system flows.
• Analyze data from shipping and delivery to identify bottlenecks.
• Develop procedures for coordination of SCM with sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.
• Ensure smooth demand forecasting and release regional targets by volume/value.
• Monitor logistics to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain supply chain inventory and records.
• Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
• Resolve delays or issues that arise in delivery.
• Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for growth.
• Develop and implement safety guidelines in all SCM aspects (e.g., trucks, forklifts).
• Review or update supply chain practices per changing environmental policies, standards or laws.
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to land more profitable deals.

• Monitoring achievement of Supply Chain Scorecard delivery & lead gap analysis to measure actual against target


• Maintaining SOP of SCM


• Evaluating and reviewing SCM operations business practices, updating & developing process documentation, streamlining opportunities, & eliminating non-value-added activities


• Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows


• Analyse data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues


• Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance


• Ensuring smooth Demand forecasting considering key attributes. Release regional targets by volume/value.


• Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly


• Maintain supply chain inventory and records


• Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes


• Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)


• Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
