Duratuf Products Pvt Ltd is seeking a Supply Chain Manager at its Kolkata (HQ) location. The role owns demand planning, stock policy, and end-to-end PO-to-dispatch processes to ensure on-time deliveries and optimized costs.

You will manage a team across inbound and outbound activities, driven by ERP/Zoho systems discipline, with exposure to international sourcing and trade documentation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in supply chain with 3+ years owning a demand-planning/S&OP cycle.
• Experience leading import (BOE, customs, CHA) and export (BL, COO, LC/TT, packing).
• Proven vendor and freight negotiation with measurable savings.
• ERP/Zoho-class systems discipline; able to build enduring SOPs.
• Experience with certified-product or quality-critical contexts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly S&OP cycle forecasting, stock policy, and replenishment within 60 days.
• Maintain stock levels within policy bands, ensuring high forecast accuracy.
• Oversee inbound operations (BOE, customs clearance, CHA, freight) and inbound performance.
• Own export documentation end-to-end (BL, COO, LC/TT, packing) with minimal rejections.
• Drive landed cost reduction through freight and supplier negotiations.
• Build SOPs and dashboards; develop the supply chain team across inbound/outbound.

Experience - 6 to 10 years

Role Summary

Duratuf ships electrical safety equipment to industries in 65+ countries from two entities — India and the UAE. The Supply Chain Manager owns the keystone sub-function of Operations: plan demand, hold the right stock, and buy and move every order — Purchase Order (PO) to dispatch, fully documented — so nothing ships late and nothing sits dead. You inherit a working team and live lanes on day one, and you own the planning cycle, the vendors, the freight, and the trade documentation across both entities.

Key Responsibilities

Demand & Supply Planning

• Stand up and personally run the monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) cycle — forecast, stock policy, replenishment — within your first 60 days.
• Hold stock cover within policy bands on fast-moving items: high forecast accuracy, minimal stockouts, inventory turns at target.

International Sourcing & Imports

• Run inbound operations hands‑on: Bill of Entry (BOE), customs clearance, Customs House Agent (CHA) coordination, inbound freight from overseas suppliers.
• Own supplier inbound OTIF (On‑Time In‑Full) on strategic international vendors, with a structured expediting cadence.

Export Dispatch & Documentation

• Own on‑time dispatch across Kolkata and Bhiwadi lanes.
• Own export documentation end‑to‑end — Bill of Lading (BL), Certificate of Origin (COO), Letter of Credit / Telegraphic Transfer (LC/TT), packing documentation — ex‑India and ex‑Dubai, with zero rejections as the standard.

Cost & Negotiation

• Drive landed cost down against baseline through freight and vendor negotiation to engineering should‑cost benchmarks.

Systems & Team

• Build SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) others can run — ERP/Zoho‑class systems discipline, dashboards over chasing.
• Lead and develop the inherited supply chain team across inbound and outbound.

Requirements

Experience

• 6+ years in supply chain, with at least 3 years owning a demand‑planning or S&OP cycle — personally ran the monthly cycle with owned forecast‑accuracy and stock‑cover numbers, not "supported planning."
• Personally ran both import operations (BOE, customs clearance, CHA coordination, inbound freight) and export operations (BL, COO, LC/TT, packing documentation) within the last 3 years — with named lanes and ports.
• Vendor and freight negotiation with owned numbers — named lanes and the % savings you personally delivered.
• ERP/Zoho‑class systems discipline — builds SOPs that outlive you.
• Exposure to a certified‑product or quality‑critical context is a strong plus.

Non‑Negotiables

• Hands‑on import and export operations within the last 3 years — supervising a team that did it does not qualify. You should be able to walk a shipment end‑to‑end from memory, including where clearances go wrong.
• First‑hand demand planning / S&OP ownership — having "supported planning" does not qualify.
• Based in Kolkata or committed to relocating.
• Notice period of 60 days or less.
