Job summary

Supreme Tech is seeking an experienced Store In-Charge to manage inventory, material planning, receiving, storage, and ERP transactions. The role requires ownership of stock accuracy and smooth material flow from receipt to utilization.

You will be responsible for daily stock counts, FIFO compliance, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability and proper documentation.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics, Materials Management or related field.
  • ERP knowledge and MS Excel essential for daily operations.
  • Experience in store/inventory management is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day store operations and organize materials.
  • Receive materials, verify quantities, process GRN, update ERP.
  • Allocate materials to racks/bins and maintain tracking.
  • Perform regular stock counts and reconcile with ERP.
  • Monitor stock levels, reorders, and plan material requirements.
  • Issue materials against requisitions and record in ERP.
  • Track daily material usage and identify discrepancies.
  • Follow FIFO/FEFO, ABC analysis, safety stock, and ageing stock.
  • Maintain material traceability and accurate movement records.
  • Coordinate with Purchase/Production/Accounts/QA regarding stock.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store In-Charge to manage inventory, material planning, receiving, storage, issuing, ERP transactions, and daily material consumption. The candidate should take complete ownership of stock accuracy and ensure proper material flow from receipt to final utilization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day store operations and maintain proper organization of materials.
  • Receive materials, verify quantity/specification, process GRN, and update the ERP.
  • Allocate every material to its designated rack/bin/location and maintain proper identification.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile physical stock with ERP records.
  • Monitor stock levels, consumption, minimum/reorder levels, and plan material requirements to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory.
  • Issue materials against authorized requirements and accurately record all issues in the ERP.
  • Track daily material utilization and know where, why, and how much material has been used.
  • Monitor consumption against requirements and identify unusual or unexplained usage.
  • Follow FIFO/FEFO and understand ABC analysis, safety stock, reorder levels, stock ageing, and slow/non-moving inventory.
  • Maintain complete traceability of material: Receipt Storage Issue Utilization Balance.
  • Identify and investigate stock discrepancies, shortages, excesses, damaged and obsolete materials.
  • Prepare regular stock, consumption, reconciliation, ageing, and material requirement reports.
  • Coordinate with Purchase, Production/Operations, Accounts, Quality, and Management regarding material requirements and stock issues.
  • Ensure all physical material movements are accurately and promptly updated in the ERP Material Management/Inventory module.
  • Maintain proper store housekeeping, safety, documentation, and discipline.
Educational Qualification
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials Management, Inventory Management, Commerce, Operations, or a related field.
  • Candidates with strong relevant practical experience in store/inventory management may also be considered.
  • ERP and MS Excel knowledge is essential.
Requirements
  • 3–5+ years of relevant experience in Stores, Inventory, Warehouse, or Material Management.
  • Hands-on experience with an ERP Material Management / Inventory module.
  • Good knowledge of FIFO, stock reconciliation, material planning, reorder levels, stock ageing, and inventory control.
  • Good Excel and reporting skills.
  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to physically verify stock rather than relying only on system records.
  • Strong ownership, discipline, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing/engineering/industrial stores will be preferred.
