Job summary

Marico is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to drive planning and inventory control across FG, RM and PM in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.

The role emphasizes tight alignment of supply capacity with demand, proactive coordination with procurement and stores, and strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Manufacturing, and Logistics to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (B. Tech./B.E.).

Responsibilities

• Supply & Demand Planning: align capacity with demand forecasts to prevent stock-outs of Finished Goods (FG); track plan adherence vs actuals (demand, production, inventory).
• RM & PM Coordination: coordinate with procurement and stores to monitor RM & PM availability and shortages or excess.
• Inventory & Cost Control: maintain RM, PM & FG inventory levels to meet target norms and minimize slow moving or excess inventory.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: act as interface between Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement & Logistics.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Supply & Demand Planning: Responsible for aligning supply capacity with demand forecasts to ensure zero stock-outs of Finished Goods (FG). Track plan adherence vs actuals (demand, production, inventory). Maintain and improve planning tools, reports, and master data accuracy.

• RM & PM Coordination: Work closely with the procurement and stores to track RM & PM availability and flat shortages or excess in advance.

• Inventory & Cost Control: Maintain RM, PM & FG inventory levels to ensure target inventory norms are met and slow moving or excess inventory risks are minimized

• Cross Functional Collaboration: Act as an interface between Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement & Logistics.
