Job summary

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals (DFPCL) in Pune seeks an experienced SCM professional to manage supply planning and ensure product availability aligned with demand planners. The role involves coordinating across sales and production to optimize inventory and dispatch planning.

The candidate should have MBA with 5–8 years in SCM, preferably from fertilizer or cement industries, and will work on monthly/weekly dispatch schedules and MIS reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduate with MBA.
• Preferred graduate/postgraduate in Supply chain Management.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in SCM.
• Preferred from Fertilizer / Cement industry.

Responsibilities

• Plan supply in line with demand (BULK/SF).
• Ensure product availability for sales from the demand planner.
• Prepare weekly and monthly dispatch plans (Rail/Road).
• Analyze variances w.r.t. budget and cost implications.
• Ensure inventory checks and raise concerns for sales/production variations.
• Coordinate with sales and production for plant evacuation and field stock availability.
• Track KPIs monthly and identify root causes for deviations.
• Collaborate with the Demand Planner for sales phasing and input for production scheduling.
• Prepare MIS.

Role & responsibilities

• Supply Planning in accordance with the Demand (BULK/SF)
• Ensuring the Availability of the products as per the demand for the sales from the demand planner
• Preparing the dispatch planning (Weekly & Monthly) in the optimised mode (Rail / Road)
• Variance in the supplies w.r.t to budget and Cost Implications
• Ensuring the inventory check and timely raising concerns for variations in sales/Production

• Coordination with sales Team and the production to the smooth evacuation from plant and stocks availability in the field as per demand
• Monthly Tracking of the KPIs and root cause for the deviation
• Close coordination with the Demand Planner for phasing of the sales and giving input for the production scheduling
• MIS

• Graduate with MBA .

Preferred graduate/postgraduate in Supply chain Management.

• 5 to 8 years of experience in SCM

Preferred candidate from Fertilizer /Cement industry.
