Job summary

Primum Talent is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Manager/Executive to oversee purchase orders, invoicing, and logistics coordination in Mumbai. You will ensure accuracy of POs, generate invoices and E-Way bills, and maintain client documentation to support timely deliveries.

The role requires strong Excel skills, familiarity with Tally and Spectrum, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain management or a related role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, practices, procedures, and local compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy and completeness of Purchase Orders (PO) upon receipt, ensuring all necessary information is included and correct.
• Generate Tax Invoices and prepare E-Way bills for material dispatches.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on supply chain activities and performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements and develop better supply chain SOPs.

Job description

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Supply Chain Manager / Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing their supply chain operations, ensuring the accuracy of purchase orders, preparing invoices, coordinating logistics, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. The candidate should possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy and completeness of Purchase Orders (PO) upon receipt, ensuring all necessary information is included and correct.
  
• Generate Tax Invoices and prepare E-Way bills for material dispatches.
  
• Provide clients with necessary documents such as Tax Invoices, COAs, and LRs.
  
• Respond to customers' queries related to invoices and documentation.
  
• Create and update ASN (Advance Shipping Notice) and invoice details in client portals as per client requirements.
  
• Update and maintain contact information in the master database.
  
• Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
  
• Monitor shipment schedules and resolve any issues that arise during transportation.
  
• Manage relationships with logistics partners and clients to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock levels.
  
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  
• Identify and implement process improvements and develop better supply chain SOPs.
  
• Prepare and submit regular reports on supply chain activities and performance.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.
  
• Proven experience in supply chain management or a related role. Minimum of 3 years of recent experience.
  
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, practices, procedures, and local compliance requirements.
  
• Experience with inventory management, logistics coordination, and supplier management.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and supply chain management software like Tally, Spectrum etc.
  
• Proficiency in Spectrum Business Management software, with recent experience using it, is a plus.
  
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
