Job summary

Vertiv Co in Maharashtra, India, seeks an experienced Supervisor Service Technical Support to provide advanced HVAC expertise for data centers and critical facilities.

You will lead design, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and energy optimisation, mentor junior engineers, and ensure safety and adherence to OEM guidelines while traveling to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Act as the go-to expert for HVAC systems, including CRAC units, chillers, liquid Cooling and precision air conditioners.
• Design & Commissioning: Lead installation and commissioning activities, ensuring proper integration and optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues; implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• Performance Optimisation: Analyse system data, recommend energy-saving measures, and align with sustainability goals.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate service records and ensure adherence to safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
• Training & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians; develop training materials for internal teams.
• Client Engagement: Offer expert advice on thermal load management and system upgrades to enhance customer satisfaction.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with industry standards and safety protocols.
• Hands-on experience with CRAC units, chillers, and liquid Cooling.
• Ability to mentor and train junior engineers.

Physical & Travel Requirements

• Frequent travel to customer sites (up to 50-75%).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
