Job Title: HVAC Machines & Systems Process Lead

Experience: 10+ Years

Department: Engineering / Process Systems

Reports To: Business Director

We are looking for a highly skilled HVAC Machines & Systems Process Expert with in-depth experience in the selection, design, and integration of HVAC machinery and systems for industrial, commercial, or cleanroom environments. The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of thermal systems, process-driven HVAC design, energy optimization, and international codes and standards. This role involves technical leadership, process development, and system optimization to ensure reliable and efficient HVAC operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and optimization of HVAC systems (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Compressors, etc.) based on process load requirements and
  • Analyze process parameters and develop HVAC system architecture aligned with operational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Design integrated HVAC solutions for temperature, humidity, pressure control, and air quality management across various process environments.
  • Prepare technical documentation including PFDs, P&IDs, control logic, equipment specifications, and system integration drawings.
  • Support the commissioning and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment and systems onsite.
  • Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, ISO, SMACNA, and other relevant HVAC and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, automation, and facility teams to ensure holistic system performance.
  • Drive improvements in energy efficiency, reliability, and lifecycle cost of HVAC systems.
  • Liaise with OEMs, contractors, and vendors for system design inputs, equipment selection, and technical clarifications.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional project execution teams.
  • Experience in handling 2D & 3D CAD software such as Solid Works, AutoDesk, and Rivet.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC system design, process integration, and performance optimization.
  • Strong expertise in HVAC system design software (e.g., HAP, Trace 700, Carrier E20-II).
  • Sound knowledge of thermodynamics, psychrometry, fluid dynamics, and energy systems.
  • Proven experience in process-driven HVAC applications such as cleanrooms, data centers, manufacturing, or healthcare.
  • Familiarity with control systems, BMS integration, and VFD applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Certification in Energy Management, LEED, or equivalent.
  • Experience with CFD simulations or HVAC performance modeling.
  • Exposure to international project environments and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to travel for short-term assignments or site support.
