Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate or Engineering Diploma/Degree or B. Tech/ B.E or Minimum Second Mate FG/Dredge Mate Grade-I COC Holder
• 6-10 years of dredging field experience as per the ad
• Experience in production planning and execution, and client liaison
• Knowledge of safety norms and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Oversee production planning and execution, ensuring efficient monitoring and control of production data.
• Liaise with clients and port representatives to provide updates on dredging progress.
• Maintain dredger equipment and monitor technical specifications.
• Plan and review bathymetric survey operations and inform dredging strategies.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and manage SAP tasks.
• Manage bunkers, water supplies, and crew coordination.
• Enforce health and safety standards and conduct drills.
• Lead and mentor teams for growth and performance.

Job Purpose:

Superintendent - Operations TSHD leads operational strategies for efficient and safe dredging, emphasizing quality service delivery, client satisfaction, safety regulations, survey planning, and logistical coordination.

Education Qualification:

• Graduate or Engineering Diploma/Degree or B. Tech/ B.E or Minimum Second Mate FG/Dredge Mate Grade-I COC Holder

Work Experience (Range of years):

• BTechs, Minimum 6-10 years of experience in dredging field

Operational Planning and Execution:

• Oversee production planning and execution, ensuring efficient monitoring and control of production data, optimizing time management and quality.

Project Management:

• Liaise with clients and port representatives to provide updates on dredging progress, addressing customer issues for enhanced satisfaction.

Dredger Equipment Maintenance:

• Maintain technical specifications, geotechnical data, and ensure dredger upkeep for optimal output.

Survey Planning and Coordination:

• Plan and review bathymetric survey operations, analysing productivity to inform dredging strategies.

MIS Preparation and Data Collection:

• Evaluate production and consumption data, prepare monthly reports, and manage SAP tasks for efficient operations.

Resource Management:

• Manage bunkers and fresh water supplies, optimize resource use, and coordinate crew operations for smooth execution.

Health Safety:

• Adhere to safety norms, conduct risk assessments, and prepare for emergencies with regular drills and compliance tracking.

Team Development:

• Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.
