Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Electrical Substation Engineer to design and oversee AIS/GIS substations, including busbar schemes up to 400 kV and relay selections.

The role emphasizes coordination with clients and suppliers, and detailed BOM preparation for complete substations. Ideal candidates will have 7–10 years of substation experience, familiarity with both AIS and GIS stations, and exposure to renewable energy projects, with strong knowledge of system studies

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in Electrical engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in Electrical Substation for AIS & GIS, Renewable energy.
• Experience in balance of plant activities such as Sub-station, Material handling.
• Experience in coordination with customers and suppliers.
• Experience in System Studies & Primary/Secondary knowledge in substation design.
• Experience in electrical equipment sizing and cable sizing.
• Experience in preparation of Bill of Materials for complete substation per customer specs.
