Job summary

Stantec is looking for an experienced electrical engineering professional to support substation design for AIS and GIS projects in India. You will contribute to equipment sizing, conductor routing, and system studies, while ensuring compliance with IEEE/IEC standards and interfacing with clients and suppliers.

The role involves preparing BOMs, layouts, and design calculations, with opportunities for offshore travel and on-site collaboration as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/ master’s degree in Electrical engineering.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in Electrical Substation for AIS & GIS.
• Experience in balance of plant activities such as Sub-station, Material handling.
• Experience in coordination with customer and suppliers.
• Experience in System Studies & Primary, Secondary knowledge in substation design.
• Experience in Electrical Equipment sizing, Cable sizing.
• Experience in BOM for Complete Substation with proper components.

Responsibilities

• Electrical equipment sizing, calculations, and selection.

• Preparation of technical specifications, reports, schedules, data sheets and deliverables.
• Preparation of General Arrangement drawings.
• Complete Control Building and GIS Building Design.
