Job summary

Stantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering and environmental consulting with about 32,000 employees across 450 locations. The Pune team seeks a senior electrical engineer for substation projects, including AIS/GIS, scheme development, and relay settings for– and above–110 kV.

Collaboration with customers and suppliers is expected. The role involves full-time on-site work in Pune, with responsibilities in electrical equipment sizing, BOM preparation, and system studies for substations

Qualifications

• Bachelor/ master’s degree in Electrical engineering.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in Electrical Substation for AIS & GIS Stations, Renewable energy.
• Experience in balance of plant activities such as Sub-station, Material handling.
• Experience in coordination with Customer and Suppliers.
• Experience in System Studies & Primary/Secondary knowledge in substation design.
• Experience in Electrical Equipment sizing, Cable sizing.
• Experience in preparation of Bill of Material for Complete Substation with proper Components/ Equipment selection as per Customer Specification and Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Must be aware about all Bus Bar scheme up to 400KV.
• Experience of working on AC and DC Schematics drawings.
• Experience of working on Relay Selection.
• Aware about scheme development.
• Relay setting calculation for substation above 110KV.
