Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement of DC systems and solar inverters.
• Monitor inverter health and performance through SCADA and monitoring platforms.
• Conduct IV Curve Analysis, thermography, and performance diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot faults, grounding issues, and MPPT abnormalities.
• Analyze plant performance and energy yield losses to improve PR and availability.
• Coordinate firmware upgrades and warranty claims with inverter OEMs.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Support commissioning, testing, and performance validation of new assets.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical maintenance procedures.
• Prepare performance and corrective action reports for equipment failures.

SME - DC Systems & Inverter

Lead operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, reliability improvement, and performance optimization of DC systems and Solar Inverters across utility-scale Solar PV plants. Responsible for ensuring maximum inverter availability, plant performance, generation optimization, and implementation of best maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage operation and maintenance of String Inverters, Central Inverters, DCDBs, SCBs/SMBs, DC Cables, Combiner Boxes, and associated DC systems.
• Monitor inverter health, availability, alarms, efficiency, and performance through SCADA and monitoring platforms.
• Conduct IV Curve Analysis, DC insulation testing, thermography, string monitoring, and performance diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot inverter faults, communication issues, grounding faults, arc faults, string mismatch, and MPPT abnormalities.
• Analyze plant performance, generation losses, clipping losses, and downtime to improve energy yield.
• Coordinate with inverter OEMs for firmware upgrades, troubleshooting, warranty claims, and critical component replacement.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Support commissioning, testing, and performance validation of new solar assets.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, PTW, LOTO, and electrical maintenance procedures.
• Prepare performance reports, RCA reports, and corrective action plans for equipment failures.
• Drive initiatives to improve inverter reliability, performance ratio (PR), and plant availability.
