Cellar Door is seeking a capable operations leader to run four Gurugram and Delhi studio floors, oversee bookings, client servicing, and on-floor operations. You will manage shoots, schedules, gear readiness, and crew coordination while driving revenue tracking and studio profitability with the founders.

The role requires 4–7 years of high-stakes operation experience, fluency in English and Hindi, and comfort with AI drafting/reporting tools.

We're Cellar Door — a video production and studio group out of Gurugram, running since 2015. We run four studio floors across Gurugram and Delhi: two podcast studios and two commercial studios. Brands, agencies, podcasters and creators book them for films shoots (ads and movies), stills and content. The studios are doing well and growing, and right now the founders are running them alongside everything else. We'd like to hand them to someone who will run them properly.

The job, honestly.

• Bookings and Client Servicing: Every enquiry — calls, emails, WhatsApp, DMs — lands with you. You own the response, but you're not alone: there's a small team around you for support and backup. Nobody waits more than an hour during working hours. Understand what they need, quote, and close.
• Running the floors: Work with Studio Managers, make sure shoots start on time, sets are ready, the gear works and the crew knows what's happening. Keep an eye on how much each studio is used, what's broken, what needs fixing, what we're running out of — and get it sorted before it becomes a problem. Lead the monthly revenue tracker and damage sheet with the accounts team, and put a simple per-studio P&L in front of the founders by the 5th of every month. You don't need to be an accountant; the accounts team does the books.
• Growing it: Work with the founders and core team on new things we can do at the studios —events, workshops, creator days, long-term rentals. This is where you get to make new things happen.

You report to:

the two founders, directly. No layers in between.

Your team:

the Accounts & Bookings Manager and the Studio Manager report to you. The on-floor crew across the four studios works through the Studio Manager.

Who we think will be good at this:

Someone with 4–7 years of managing things that are high-stakes and time-bound, where people are paying and the clock is running. Events, workshops, co-working, hotels, a studio, a venue, a club, a live production — the industry matters less than the fact that you've sold it, run it and been answerable for it.

Fluent and easy in both English and Hindi. You'll be on the phone with a brand manager and on the floor with the crew in the same hour, and both should feel natural.

A people person who can also organise, delegate and hold a team to a standard —kindly, but firmly.

Comfortable with numbers. You keep trackers clean, read a revenue sheet without flinching, and notice when something looks off. You don't need an accounting background — the accounts team handles the books.

Dependable. You finish what you start and nobody has to chase you.

You already use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude or similar) for drafting, summarising and reporting, and you're curious to use them more.

Based in Gurugram or willing to relocate, and fine with moving between four studio locations in a week.

CTA:

₹8.4 LPA fixed, plus a performance incentive linked to studio revenue. If the studios do what we think they can, you're looking at ₹11–13 LPA in a year. The incentive formula will be written down and shared before you join.

Where:

our main office in Nirvana Country, Sector 50, Gurugram, with weekly visits to each studio in Gurugram and Delhi (Lado Sarai).

Hours:

six-day week, with flexibility around shoot schedules — shoots do happen early mornings and on weekends, and we give that back. If you've done a 6AM recce, nobody is counting your hours that afternoon.

Start:

as soon as you can, but we'll work with your notice period.
