Job summary

Cyient in Hyderabad (India) is seeking a steel detailing engineer to translate conceptual designs into detailed steelwork drawings for mounts, headframes, lattices and monopoles. You will create shop floor drawings, BOMs, and strengthenings, while ensuring dimensional accuracy and coordination with designers.

The role requires knowledge of mobile site design, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and familiarity with Indian, Australian, and European codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with Indian, Australian, and European codes is required.
• Experience detailing steel work from conceptual to shop drawings.
• Detailing of connections for lattice towers and monopoles.
• Clarify fabrication queries and provide technical support to fabrication teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide steel work drawings based on conceptual design provided by designer.
• Create detailed shop floor and BOM drawings.
• Detail connections for lattice towers and monopole extensions.
• Provide strengthening drawings for lattice towers and monopoles.
• Prepare roof-top pole connection detailing drawings.
• Clarify queries raised by fabricator.

Job description

• Provide the steel work drawings based on the Conceptual design provided by designer.
• Providing steelwork drawings of Mounts, Head frames for the existing structures.
• Creation of the detailed, Shop floor and BOM drawings.
• Detaling of connections for Lattice tower and monopole extensions.
• Providing strengthening solutions and Preparation of strengthening drawings for lattice towers, Monopoles.
• Roof top pole, connection detailing drawings
• Clarify the Queries raised by fabricator.

• Must have knowledge on Mobile site design
• Preference will be given to BE/B.Tech in or Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Working Experience in common structural detailing software tools (AUTOCAD, Rivet, Any 3D modelling software’s)
• Experience in using Indian standard codes, Australian Codes, European Codes and standards.
