Job summary

Fortune Hr Solutions on behalf of a leading fashion retailer seeks an experienced Store Manager for Coimbatore apparel stores. The role requires end-to-end store management, strong leadership, and a passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

You will lead a 3+ member team, ensure premium brand standards, manage inventory, and drive sales in a high-volume environment. 8+ years retail experience and MBA-preference are desired. Location: RS PURAM and NAVA INDIA in Coimbatore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in retail with 4-5 years as Store Manager.
• Graduate in any stream; MBA preferred for senior role.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large-format store (500–2,000 sq ft) and uphold premium brand standards.
• Maintain highest visual merchandising and hygiene standards at all times.
• Track stock levels, conduct audits, and coordinate replenishment.
• Handle customer escalations to ensure best-in-class in-store experience.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations, and brand guidelines.
• Drive store revenue by meeting monthly targets and optimizing conversion.
• Lead a 3+ person team with training, KPIs, and performance reviews.
• Plan staff schedules and ensure adequate floor coverage.
• Maintain stock records and coordinate with supply chain for replenishment.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports to Area/ Zonal Manager.

Required for India's fastest-growing value fashion retail chains. We are seeking a driven and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail operations and deliver an exceptional shopping experience in our apparel outlets across India.

Education Graduate (Any Stream) / MBA Preferred

Store Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of the assigned retail outlet. The role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and a passion for driving retail sales.

You will be the face of the brand in your store ensuring every customer has an outstanding experience while leading a motivated, high-performing team.

We strongly prefer candidates who have hands-on Store Manager experience with established, organized garment and apparel retail brands. This ensures familiarity with structured retail operations,

brand standards, and high-volume store management.

K E Y R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S:

Store Operations Management

• Manage a large-format retail store of 500- 2,000 Sq. Ft. and above, ensuring smooth daily operations and premium brand standards.
• Ensure the store is maintained at the highest visual erchandising and hygiene standards at all times.
• Manage inventory effectively track stock levels, conduct regular audits, and coordinate timely replenishment.
• Handle customer escalations promptly and ensure a best-in-class in-store experience.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety regulations, and brand guidelines.

Sales & Business Performance

• Drive store revenue with proven ability to achieve monthly sales targets in the range of 6070 lakh and above.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and take proactive steps to close gaps.
• Analyze store-level sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Execute local marketing efforts and in-store events to attract and retain customers.
• Focus on key retail metrics: conversion rate, average transaction value, units per transaction, and footfall.

People Management & Team Leadership

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 3+ or more store associates, supervisors, and support staff.
• Conduct regular training sessions to upskill the team on product knowledge, customer service, and selling techniques.
• Set individual and team KPIs; conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and growth.
• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and shift planning to ensure adequate floor coverage.

Inventory & Loss Prevention

• Maintain accurate records of stock inward, outward, and inter-store transfers.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts and annual stock take in line with company policy.
• Identify and address shrinkage, pilferage, and inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the supply chain and warehouse teams for efficient replenishment.

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports, expense summaries, and operational updates to
• the Area/Zonal Manager.
• Ensure all statutory, audit, and compliance requirements are met at the store level.
• Maintain accurate records of customer feedback, returns, and exchanges.
