Skillventory is hiring a Store Manager cum Optometrist for a leading Retail company in Goa. You will oversee operations, sales, customer experience, and staff management while ensuring accuracy in eyewear dispensing.

The role combines store leadership with clinical eye-care responsibilities, including eye testing, lens selection, and guiding teams on product knowledge, optics, and service quality to drive conversions and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Administration: Manage opening/closing procedures, daily financial reports, cash handling, and inventory audits.
• Sales & Performance: Drive store performance to meet or exceed sales, conversion, and average order value targets.
• Customer Experience: Deliver high-quality service, resolve customer complaints, and ensure technical accuracy in dispensing eyewear.
• Staff Management & Training: Hire, train, schedule, and mentor staff on optical products, sales techniques, and customer service.
• Inventory & Technical Control: Manage stock levels, order frames/lenses, and supervise the fitting, adjusting, and dispensing of eyewear.

Optometrist Job Profile (JD)

• New Sales Process -Zero error Eye Testing, Lens Selling by Optometrists & Correct Selling
• History taking of the patient
• Drive sales for Bifocal Ratio, Contact lenses and House Brand lenses
• Focus on increasing AUPC
• Ensure higher Conversions from Eye Testing to Buyers
• Demonstrating strong technical knowledge by correct selling
• Clinic Operations and Equipment Maintenance
• Resolving Customer Complaint & winning back irated customers
• Quality check of lenses before & after fitting.
• Instructing the technicians regarding the technicalities of fitting.
• Helping the store manager to order the lenses and upgrading his knowledge regarding the lens types.
• Partner with regional optometrist & corporate for driving projects/initiatives which are technical in nature
