Job summary

Greytip Software Private Limited in Chennai is seeking a customer-focused retail associate to recommend lenses, frames and optical products based on customer needs. You will deliver a superior in-store experience and help achieve sales targets.

You will manage daily store operations, lead and train the team, monitor performance, maintain stock and ensure visual merchandising aligns with company standards while handling queries and preparing standard reports for management.

Responsibilities

• Recommend appropriate lenses, frames, and optical products based on customer needs.
• Ensure excellent customer service and deliver a superior in-store experience.
• Achieve store sales targets and drive business growth.
• Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead, train, and motivate the store team to achieve sales and service goals.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure productivity.
• Maintain inventory, coordinate stock replenishment, and minimize stock loss.
• Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation meet company standards.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and service escalations professionally.
• Maintain accurate customer records and comply with optical and company standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with Area Managers and support functions to ensure smooth store operations.
• Build strong customer relationships to improve repeat business and customer satisfaction.
