Job summary

Chetan Dryfruit is seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee daily retail operations in Vasai-Virar area. You will drive sales, manage inventory, supervise staff, ensure customer service excellence and maintain store presentation.

The role requires 3–6 years in retail with FMCG exposure, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with POS systems and stock management. Location: Vasai, Virar, Nalasopara, Maharashtra.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in retail/store management preferred.
• Experience in FMCG, food retail, sweets, bakery or similar retail business will be preferred.
• Strong customer-handling and communication skills.
• Good team management and leadership abilities.
• Experience in inventory and stock management.
• Knowledge of POS/billing systems.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
• Good understanding of sales targets and retail operations.
• Should be responsible, disciplined, honest and capable of independently managing a store.
• Candidates residing in Vasai, Virar, Nalasopara or nearby areas will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store.
• Lead, supervise and motivate store staff to achieve sales and service targets.
• Plan daily staff duties, shifts and responsibilities.
• Drive daily and monthly sales targets and improve store performance.
• Handle customers, understand their requirements and ensure excellent customer service.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage stock receiving, checking, storage, replenishment and inventory.
• Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving products and ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices and monitor product expiry.
• Maintain attractive, organized and properly labelled product displays.
• Monitor billing, cash handling, POS transactions and daily reconciliation.
• Ensure discounts and promotional offers are implemented correctly.
• Maintain daily sales, stock and operational reports.
• Coordinate with management regarding sales, inventory, staff performance and store requirements.
• Ensure proper store opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene and overall presentation.
• Handle online orders/platform orders whenever required.
• Drive upselling and cross-selling of dry fruits, sweets, farsan, gift packs and other products.
• Train new employees on product knowledge, customer service and store SOPs.
• Ensure company policies, SOPs and discipline are followed.
