Job summary

JobItUs in Vapi seeks a Store Manager with 6–8 years of experience in the plastic industry to oversee end-to-end storage, inventory control, and material handling.

You will ensure timely RM/PM availability, maintain ERP-based records, enforce 5S and GMP norms, and coordinate with procurement, production, and quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end storage and handling of raw materials and packing materials.
• Ensure timely availability of RM and PM for production as per the production plan.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
• Monitor material shelf life, batch tracking, and FIFO compliance.
• Ensure proper labeling, segregation, and safe storage as per regulatory and GMP norms.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and quality teams for material planning and usage.
• Maintain stock minimum and reorder levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Manage inward and outward logistics of RM/PM with proper documentation.
• Handle audits (internal/external) and ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, FDA, or other regulatory bodies.
• Train and supervise warehouse/store staff on SOPs, safety, and material handling.
• Implement 5S, lean inventory, and continuous improvement practices in the store.
