Job summary

Naiknavare Developers is seeking a Store/Inventory Manager to oversee end-to-end store operations for construction materials across project sites. You will ensure receipt, inspection, storage, issuance, and transfer of materials while maintaining accurate ERP records and real-time stock levels.

The role requires strong knowledge of construction materials, ERP-based stock reconciliation, and MIS reporting. You will coordinate with Procurement and Project teams to ensure uninterrupted material

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of construction materials and stock control.
• Experience with ERP-based inventory management and stock reconciliation.
• Ability to manage warehouse operations and audits.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MIS reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end store operations, including receipt, inspection, storage, issuance, transfer, and reconciliation of construction materials.
• Ensure accurate inventory records in the ERP system and maintain real-time stock updates.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Procurement for timely replenishment and inter-site material transfers.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification, inventory reconciliation, and support internal and external audits.
• Control excess, damaged, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory and recommend disposal or redistribution.
• Maintain complete documentation, including GRNs, challans, material issue slips, transfer notes, and inventory records.
• Ensure implementation of FIFO/FEFO practices and proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials.
• Supervise store personnel, warehouse operations, housekeeping, and overall store discipline.
• Prepare MIS reports on inventory, stock ageing, material consumption, reconciliation, and audit observations.
• Manage scrap inventory and coordinate approved disposal activities in compliance with company policies.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, statutory regulations, safety standards, and internal control systems.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QA/QC, Safety, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability and operational efficiency.
• Be accountable for inventory accuracy, material security, documentation integrity, operational compliance, and audit readiness across all assigned stores.

• Strong knowledge of construction materials (cement, steel, RMC, electrical, plumbing, finishing materials, etc.).
