Isha Foundation, Inc. is seeking a Store Operations Manager to own end-to-end store operations across 24/7 shifts at the airport. You will ensure seamless handovers, manage rostering, and supervise stock integrity while delivering revenue targets and KPI metrics.
The role requires strong people management, ability to work nights and weekends, adherence to CISF/BCAS, AEP clearances, and coordination with warehouse and vendors to maintain security, VM standards, and timely reporting.
Own end-to-end store operations across all shifts (typically 3 rotating shifts covering 24 hours), ensuring seamless handover between shifts with zero disruption to customer service or stock integrity.
Prepare and manage shift rosters ensuring adequate manpower coverage during peak flight banks, red-eye slots, and low-footfall hours, while staying within manpower budget.
Ensure personal presence/coverage of high-traffic periods and be available on-call for escalations across shifts.
Deliver store revenue, ATV (Average Transaction Value), conversion %, and category-wise sales targets.
Drive upselling/cross-selling, especially of high-margin and duty-free/travel-exclusive SKUs.
Analyze flight schedules and passenger traffic patterns to optimize staffing and stock allocation by shift.
Monitor competitor stores within the terminal and recommend tactical responses.
Ensure accurate stock ordering management, cycle counts, and shrinkage control across all shifts - a critical control point given 24x7 handovers.
Coordinate with warehouse/CFA for airside replenishment within customs/security clearance timelines.
Ensure periodic receipt of inventory, from Coimbatore warehouse, at T3 airport unloading bay and transfer to store.
Ensure zero pilferage through strict SOP adherence, CCTV monitoring, and shift-wise stock reconciliation
Ensure all staff hold valid AEP (Airport Entry Pass)/security clearances and renewals are tracked proactively.
Ensure full compliance with CISF/BCAS security protocols, customs regulations (for duty-free categories, if applicable), and DIAL (Delhi International Airport Ltd.) terminal operating guidelines.
Maintain compliance with fire safety, licensing (weights & measures, GST documentation) and health & safety norms applicable to airport retail.
Recruit, train, and retain frontline staff in a high-attrition, shift-based environment.
Drive a culture of grooming, guest interaction standards, and multilingual service (Hindi/English/basic conversational skills in a third language is a plus, given international traffic).
Conduct shift briefings, performance reviews, and manage disciplinary/grievance matters as needed.
Ensure VM guidelines, planograms, and brand display standards are maintained across all shifts.
Coordinate window/display changes around new launches, seasonal campaigns, or promotions with minimal disruption to live operations.
Provide daily/weekly/MIS reports on sales, footfall conversion, stock, and manpower to the Area Manager.
Liaise with DIAL, airport authorities, mall management (T3 retail management team), landlord representatives, and category/brand teams.
Manage vendor coordination for store maintenance, housekeeping, and security within a live operational airport environment.
