Job summary

Transmute is seeking a Store Manager to lead our Luxury Hardware Experience Center in Kolkata. Drive exceptional showroom experiences for architects, designers and discerning clients, coordinating with sales to ensure timely delivery and high-standard service.

The role requires design-minded leadership, strong communication in English, Hindi and Bengali, and the ability to present mood boards and proposals that reflect premium aesthetics and client needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail showroom management, interiors, luxury products, furniture, lighting or architectural hardware.
• Academic background in Interior Design or Architecture is advantageous.
• Excellent command of English, Hindi and Bengali.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional showroom experience for walk-in clients, architects and interior designers.
• Understand client requirements and recommend luxury hardware solutions.
• Prepare mood boards, design presentations, quotations, proposals and commercial offers.
• Coordinate with sales teams to ensure timely order execution and delivery.

Location: Kolkata

Are you passionate about design, customer engagement, and creating exceptional client experiences? We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead our International brands of luxury decorative hardware showroom and work closely with architects, interior designers, and discerning clients.

Key Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in retail showroom management, preferably in interiors, luxury products, furniture, lighting, or architectural hardware or even fresher with a design background wanting to get into marketing & sales.
• Academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related design discipline would be an added advantage.
• Technically minded with a understanding of design aesthetics and interior specifications would be great.
• Excellent command of English, Hindi, and Bengali.
• Pleasant personality with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, multitasking, creative, organized, and detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional showroom experience for walk-in clients, architects, and interior designers.
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable luxury hardware solutions.
• Prepare mood boards, design presentations, quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
• Coordinate with the sale teams to ensure timely order execution and delivery.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with architects, designers, builders, and premium clientele.
• Visit project sites and design offices whenever required to understand design intent and project specifications.
• Maintain impeccable showroom standards and oversee daily operations with professionalism.
