Job summary

Senco Gold in Bhopal is seeking an experienced Retail Sales Leader to drive monthly and annual sales targets while ensuring premium customer experiences in our luxury jewelry stores.

You will manage inventory, merchandise planning, compliance, promotions, and reporting, while recruiting and coaching sales associates to upsell high-value pieces.

Responsibilities

• Drive achievement of monthly/annual sales targets.
• Implement strategies for like-to-like growth and maximize store profitability.
• Monitor product-wise, category-wise performance (Gold, Diamond, Platinum, Silver, Gossip, Sennes).
• Ensure optimum stock levels with correct product mix.
• Oversee gold and diamond inventory control, stock rotation, shrinkage control.
• Maintain compliance with hallmarking, weight accuracy, and certification standards.
• Deliver a world‑class luxury retail experience.
• Build long‑term customer relationships, ensuring conversion of new buyers and retention of high‑value clients.
• Manage grievance resolution, ensuring zero escalations.
• Recruit, train, and motivate sales associates in jewelry selling skills, product knowledge, and upselling techniques.
• Foster employee engagement, retention, and succession planning.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, statutory norms, and zero violation in audits.
• Monitor gold purity testing, billing accuracy, and cash reconciliation.
• Execute local BTL activations, festivals, and wedding season campaigns.
• Analyse competitive activity and implement strategies to increase market share.
• Provide regular MIS reports on sales, footfall conversion, category performance and competitor benchmarking.
