Job summary

Ahluwalia Contracts is seeking a Store Incharge to oversee site stores, including receipt, storage, issuance, stock control and reconciliation of construction materials on large infrastructure projects. The role ensures inventory accuracy and material availability to support site execution.

Key duties include material receipt and inspection, SAP GRN entry, proper storage with FIFO, daily stock registers, and periodic reconciliation for billing and cost control.

Qualifications

• Graduate or diploma in any discipline.
• Experience in handling store inventory on large projects preferred.
• Knowledge of construction materials and proper documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Material receipt and inspection; verify against PO, challan and invoice.
• Storage and inventory management with FIFO; maintain stock records.

Role & responsibilities

Role Summary:

The Store Incharge will be responsible for overall management of site stores including receipt, storage, issuance, stock control, and reconciliation of construction materials. The role ensures proper inventory control, prevention of material loss, and smooth coordination with procurement and site execution teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Material Receipt & Inspection

• Verify materials received as per PO, challan, and invoice.
• Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note) in SAP system.

2. Storage & Inventory Management

• Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials (cement, steel, electrical, plumbing, finishing materials, etc.).
• Maintain FIFO (First In First Out) system.

3. Stock Reconciliation

• Maintain daily stock register (physical & SAP).
• Conduct weekly and monthly stock verification.
• Prepare monthly material reconciliation report.

4. Documentation & Audit

• Maintain proper inward/outward registers.
• Ensure audit compliance.
• Support material reconciliation for billing and cost control.

Required Skills:

• Strong inventory management knowledge.
