Job summary

Smile Management Solutions seeks a Store Incharge to manage storage, receipt, issue, and inventory of construction materials at the QT- New Chandigarh – Mohali sites. You will ensure documentation, stock levels, and coordination with procurement to support project execution.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in material management and 7+ years in store management, with preference for real estate or civil construction exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in material management required.
• Minimum 7 years of cumulative work experience in store/ material management.
• Experience in real estate or civil construction sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and reconcile all incoming materials with purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for civil and MEP materials.
• Ensure proper storage, tagging, and stock control at the site store.
• Issue materials via approved requisitions and monitor stock levels.
• Prepare daily/weekly stock reports and coordinate with procurement.
• Maintain GRNs/MRNs, issue slips, and delivery challans.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Protect materials from damage through correct handling and labeling.

JOB DESCRIPTION STORE INCHARGE

The Store keeper is responsible for managing the storage, receipt, issue, and inventory of construction materials and equipment at the site. The role ensures proper documentation, stock levels, and coordination with the procurement and project teams to support seamless execution of construction activities.

• Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile them with purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for civil & MEP materials.
• Ensure proper stacking, storage, and tagging of materials at the site store.
• Issue materials based on approved material requisition slips.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment.
• Ensure timely reporting of shortages, damages, or surplus stock.
• Maintain GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), MRNs (Material Requisition Notes), issue slips, and delivery challans.
• Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, tools, and equipment at project sites.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the store management system.
• Conduct regular stock checks and ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid shortages.
• Coordinate with the procurement and site teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Monitor material usage and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
