Job summary

Z Ventures is seeking a store/inventory specialist to manage day-to-day store operations, GRN, inspection, binning, storage, and issuing materials against indents and BOMs.

You will maintain ERP stock accuracy, enforce FIFO, perform stock verifications, coordinate with Purchase/Design/Projects/Quality, and ensure safety and 5S in the stores area.

Qualifications

• Experience in store operations and ERP inventory control.
• Knowledge of FIFO and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store operations: goods receipt (GRN), inspection coordination, binning, storage, and issue of materials against indents and BOMs.
• Maintain accurate inventory in the ERP and ensure physical stock always matches system stock.
• Control and document every material movement with correct transactions and traceability.
• Plan storage layout and bin locations; enforce FIFO discipline and safe handling/storage of materials and components.
• Conduct periodic and annual physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with root-cause action.
• Monitor minimum / re-order levels and proactively flag shortages to the Purchase team.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Design, Projects, and Quality on incoming material status, shortages, and rejections.
• Manage non-conforming material segregation, returnable items, and scrap as per procedure.
• Maintain housekeeping, 5S, and safety standards across the stores area.
• Support kitting and project-wise material staging to accelerate assembly.
