Job summary

Enerkraft Venture is seeking an experienced Store In-Charge to oversee store operations for power distribution and transmission projects. The role requires handling materials for Substations and transmission lines, maintaining stock records and ensuring accurate material reconciliation on site.

The ideal candidate will have 3–8 years of relevant experience, hands-on proficiency with MS Excel, and the ability to coordinate with engineers, procurement, and accounts teams at project sites.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in Power Distribution / Transmission / Substation Projects.
• Experience in RDSS / DDUGJY / JVNNL or similar government power projects preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, inventory management and material reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete store operations at project/site locations.
• Receive, inspect, record and issue electrical and civil project materials.
• Maintain inward/outward registers, stock records and material reconciliation.
• Handle materials related to 33/11 KV Substations, 765/400/220 KV Substations and Transmission Line projects.
• Maintain Excel-based inventory, stock statements, MIS and material reconciliation reports.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Procurement, Project, Accounts and HO teams for material requirements.
• Ensure proper storage, tagging, preservation and security of materials.
• Track material consumption, shortages, excess stock and damaged materials.
• Prepare GRN/MRN, material issue slips, stock reports and other store documentation.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and maintain accurate inventory.
• Ensure proper documentation and control of project materials as per company procedures.

We are looking for an experienced Store In-Charge for our power distribution and transmission projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in RDSS, DDUGJY, JVNNL or similar power-sector projects and should be well-versed in handling project stores, material management and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complete store operations at project/site locations.
• Receive, inspect, record and issue electrical and civil project materials.
• Maintain proper inward/outward registers, stock records and material reconciliation.
• Handle materials related to 33/11 KV Substations, 765/400/220 KV Substations, Transmission Lines (TL), HT/LT lines, transformers, cables, conductors, poles, structures and electrical accessories.
• Maintain Excel-based inventory, stock statements, MIS and material reconciliation reports.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Procurement, Project, Accounts and HO teams for material requirements.
• Ensure proper storage, tagging, preservation and security of materials.
• Track material consumption, shortages, excess stock and damaged materials.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 38 years of relevant experience in Power Distribution / Transmission / Substation Projects.
• Experience in RDSS / DDUGJY / JVNNL or similar government power projects will be preferred.
• Practical exposure to 33/11 KV Substations, 765/400/220 KV Substations and Transmission Line projects.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, inventory management and material reconciliation.
• Good understanding of electrical project materials and site-store operations.
• Strong documentation, coordination and reporting skills.
• Candidates willing to work at project/site locations will be preferred.

Qualification:

Graduate / Diploma / ITI with relevant experience.
