Fortune Consultancy in Coimbatore region is seeking a Store Sr. Executive for a precision manufacturing CNC shop. The role oversees stores, inventory, and inbound/outbound logistics to ensure smooth material flow and ERP data accuracy.

You will lead staff, coordinate purchasing, and manage supplier relations while maintaining optimal stock levels and cycle counts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 37 years in store management, preferably in manufacturing or CNC machine shop.
• Proficiency in manufacturing ERP software.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Planning and prioritising skills.
• Good reporting and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Staff management: Supervise, train and mentor store staff and material handling team; assign tasks and evaluate performance.
• ERP and inventory control: Maintain accurate ERP data; real‑time stock updates; cycle counts; physical audits; reconcile discrepancies.
• Demand forecasting and purchase coordination: Analyze usage and production schedules; maintain stock levels; raise POs on time.
• Supplier management: Primary contact for suppliers; follow up on POs; coordinate with Finance on invoices and disputes.
• Logistics coordination: Manage inbound/outbound logistics; coordinate with freight forwarders and vendors; verify documents.

Our client, a precision manufacturing company with a CNC machine shop, is looking for a Store Sr. Executive to run stores, inventory and inbound/outbound logistics.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Staff management: Supervise, train and mentor store executives and material handling staff. Assign daily tasks, evaluate performance and make sure the team follows SOPs.


• ERP and inventory control: Keep ERP data accurate for all inbound and outbound materials. Oversee real-time stock updates, material issuance and returns. Run regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits, and reconcile discrepancies.


• Demand forecasting and purchase coordination: Analyse usage data and production schedules to build purchase forecasts. Maintain optimum stock levels (Min/Max, reorder points) for the CNC machine shop. Work with Production and Planning on upcoming material needs. Raise POs on time and track approvals with Procurement.


• Supplier management: Be the primary contact for suppliers on delivery schedules. Follow up on pending POs for critical components. Coordinate with Finance on invoice verification, payments and disputes.


• Logistics coordination: Manage cost-effective, timely inbound and outbound logistics. Coordinate with freight forwarders, couriers and local transport vendors. Verify documents, delivery challans and gate passes.
