Job summary

Impact Hr N Km Solutions in Nashik is seeking a Store/Inventory Clerk to manage material inward, QC clearance and GRN postings in ERP. You will handle stock ledgers, MRS-based issues, dispatch documentation and periodic stock verification.

The role requires 1–2 years in supply chain or procurement, with strong attention to 5S/LIFO/FIFO practices and audit support. This is a full-time position based in Nashik.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound materials, raw stock, tools and equipment from vendors against POs and DCs.

• Maintain stock ledgers, bin cards and inventory records for raw materials, WIP and FG.
• Record material issues against MRS and conduct periodic stock verifications.
• Implement 5S and FIFO/LIFO for organized storage; ensure safe access.
• Prepare outward DCs, E-way bills, gate passes and tax invoices for dispatches.
• Monitor reorder levels and inform purchases before stockouts occur.
• Maintain delivery notes, return challans and vendor invoices for audits.

Job description

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Material Inward & Inspection Coordination: Receive incoming materials, raw stock, tools, and equipment from vendors against Purchase Orders (POs) and Delivery Challans (DCs).
• Verify quantity, physical condition, and basic specifications of materials upon arrival; coordinate with Quality Control (QC) for technical clearance.
• Prepare and post accurate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) in Tally/ERP software upon material acceptance.
• Inventory Accounting & Ledger Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date digital and physical stock ledgers, bin cards, and inventory records for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Record all material issues to the production floor or project sites against valid Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
• Conduct periodic physical stock verifications (weekly/monthly counts) and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and ERP balances.
• Store Organization & Dispatch Management: Implement 5S and FIFO (First-In, First-Out) / LIFO inventory management practices for organized, safe, and easily accessible material storage.
• Prepare outward Delivery Challans (DCs), E-way bills, gate passes, and tax invoices for customer dispatches or sub-contractor material issues.
• Monitor reorder levels (ROL) for minimum stock items, fast-moving consumables, and tools; inform the Purchase department before stockouts occur.
• Documentation & Audit Support: Maintain organized physical records of delivery notes, return challans, vendor invoice copies, and scrap records.
• Assist internal and external auditors during annual inventory valuation and asset verification audits.
